Fla. medics busted for cooking meth

2 EMS partners were arrested after a home raid by police; one admitted to smoking up on the job

INVERNESS, Fla. — Citrus County Sheriff’s deputies say their raid on the quaint home in Inverness turned up the tools needed in a meth lab.

Pipes, tubes and chemicals like Drain-O, Sudafed and lighter fluid.

“You didn’t see much activity on the outside, so I didn’t know what was going on on the inside,” said neighbor Ricki Bullock. Nature Coast EMS paramedic Jeffrey Kehr, his girlfriend, Stephanie Smith, and his ambulance partner, EMT Heather Carson, allegedly admitted to home-cooking after Wednesday’s raid.
