Fla. medic suspected of planning to sell heroin

She was arrested after police following up on a separate incident found drugs on her while she was sitting in a personal car near a home

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Palm Beach County paramedic is busted for drugs. Deputies said the paramedic was found with heroin and believe she could have been planning to sell it. An internal investigation is now being done with her department.

Carolyn Starling is currently out on bond. Starling was off duty when she was arrested last Thursday after detectives found drug paraphernalia on her.

According to an arrest report, detectives found Starling sitting in a personal car near a home, where they were following up on a shop lifting incident the day before.
