YAZOO COUNTY, Miss. — A dispatcher was arrested for allegedly helping another suspect rob an on-duty colleague at gunpoint.

WJTV reported that Yazoo County dispatcher Terrance Freeman was charged with accessory to armed robbery after police discovered he helped someone else get inside of the building and rob a female dispatcher who had a large amount of cash.

Police said Freeman lodged something in the door so that the other suspect could come inside, and the suspect waited until Freeman went to the bathroom before entering to commit the crime.

Officials believe the other suspect also worked for the department, and that the two knew the female dispatcher was getting ready to pay her bills and would have the money at the time of the robbery.
