LOS ANGELES — Police investigating the beating of paramedic Bryan Stow at Dodger Stadium have shifted the focus of their investigation to the woman who helped the two assailants escape after the attack.
Los Angeles Police Capt. Bill Murphy said the woman, in her 20s, was wearing an Andre Ethier Dodgers jersey, stood about 5-feet-2 to 5-feet-3 with brown hair in a ponytail, and was with a boy who appeared to be about 10 years old.
Detective PJ Morris, the lead investigator in the case, said the police department has received more than 500 tips from the public, but no arrests have been made, according to an ESPN.com report.
Morris told ESPN that investigators have traveled as far north as San Francisco and as far south as San Diego to pursue leads.
Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said Tuesday the Dodgers have increased the size of the reward by $100,000, pushing the total amount offered past $200,000, according to an AP report.
