BELLEVUE, Neb. — A Bellevue couple went to the Bellevue Fire Department Sunday to say thank you to the men who saved a life in the middle of the night last spring.
The paramedics said they were just doing their job, but Kevin Dowell and Pamela Dowell say differently. “What is it like to hold someone’s life in your hands and know that this time, this moment, nothing else matters?” asked Kevin Dowell.
Kevin Dowell could barely contain his emotions as he thanked the Bellevue firefighters who saved his wife. “Thank you so much,” Pamela Dowell said. “You are my heroes.”
