MAPLE RIDGE, British Columbia — Emergency crews who rushed to the scene of fatal motorcycle crash in Maple Ridge yesterday were saddened to find the 43-year-old victim was one of their own.
Ryan Ferrier was a paramedic and tragically killed in a crash that happened on Lougheed Highway at 105 Avenue at 4:20 p.m. yesterday.
According to Ridge Meadows RCMP, Ferrier was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a semi-truck that was turning left on Lougheed Highway. The highway was closed for several hours while crews investigated the scene.
