CHIRCHVILLE, Va. — Twenty Augusta County students are recovering from injuries after their school bus crashed on the way to class Tuesday morning.
The bus driver is also injured, and police say he will face charges.
Virginia State Police (VSP) say there were 35 students on the bus at the time of the crash. The students attend Churchville Elementary School, Beverly Manor Middle School and Buffalo Gap High School. Many of them suffered cuts, bumps, and broken bones in that crash. One child is reportedly in serious condition at Augusta Health.
