LA PORTE, Texas — A bank robber was arrested after stealing an ambulance and using it to flee the scene, according to police.
ABC13 reported that Kristopher Montalvo allegedly robbed Amegy Bank before stealing an ambulance to escape. He was arrested minutes later after police tracked him down.
Montalvo was charged with robbery, and police said they expect he will face additional charges.
