TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A paramedic is facing criminal charges for allegedly forging prescriptions for Adderall.
Tribune Star reported that paramedic Cole Worley, who is married to a doctor, was arrested after an investigation was launched when a pharmacy called Terre Haute Regional Hospital to verify a prescription written for a woman and signed by Dr. Zach Worley, the ER medical director.
Police found the prescription to be false, and said further investigation revealed that Cole Worley forged multiple prescriptions on pads from Union Hospital and Indiana University Health and Regional, where Dr. Zach Worley worked as well.
Pharmacy employees identified Cole as the person who dropped off the Adderall prescriptions and tried to fill a prescription in July.
Cole was arrested as a result, and resigned from his job as a paramedic. He is set to go to trial on Feb. 7.
