NORWALK, Calif. — A mother with two children in her car ran a red light and collided with an ambulance in Norwalk on Saturday, investigators said.The 25-year-old woman ran the light at Colima at Leffingwell roads, said Sargent Robert Rentera of the sheriff’s Norwalk station. Her Taurus flipped over.
The children, 9 months and 18 months old, were properly restrained and suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Whittier Community Hospital for treatment, Rentera said.
The ambulance was not carrying any patients, and the two paramedics inside were not injured, Rentera said.
