MOBRIDGE, S.D. — A S.D. man is dead after crashing into an ambulance.
Lynnard Spiry, Jr., 45, died Sunday evening after the pickup truck he was riding in slid out of control into the path of an ambulance, according to DRG News. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brady Troy Spiry, 17, who was driving the pick-up received minor injuries.
The ambulance was reportedly returning from a transport and was not carrying any patients. The two medics inside the ambulance, aged 78 and 31 also sustained minor injuries.
All four victims had been wearing their seatbelts.
Details on the cause of the crash were not readily available.
