SAN DIEGO -- The EMS Today Conference and Exposition, produced by Elsevier Public Safety, the Journal of Emergency Medical Services and Reed Exhibitions, today announces the completion of its 2009 conference program, featuring new conference sessions, pre-conference workshops
and an exhibit hall launching new products and services.

EMS Today Conference and Exposition is scheduled for March 24 – 28, 2009 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD. The event features two days of cutting-edge pre-conference workshops, 3 days of main conference sessions, dynamic networking sessions and special events.

Conference Adds New Session Topics and Speakers to Educational Program

The 2009 EMS Today Conference & Exposition will offer high-quality sessions, pre-conference workshops, peer networking, and opportunities for ride-alongs and facility tours; the key components that have made it a success for the past 26 years. The program includes leading experts from around the world, who will discuss the latest and most progressive topics in EMS. Also added for 2009 are dynamic keynote addresses by Steve Berry and Suzanne Frey Sherwood, who will motivate, inspire and educate attendees while recharging their batteries.

Added Value in a Challenging Economy

EMS Today has added a variety of money-saving options in an effort to minimize the impact of the economy on agency budgets. There will be no conference registration price increase in 2009. Providers can obtain the best in quality education at 2008 prices. In addition to the 90-plus conference sessions, dedicated classroom areas providing complimentary, specialized CEU have been added to the exhibit hall, allowing attendees to gain even more knowledge and maximize their time at the conference. Departments can also make the most of their training budget by taking advantage of early bird registration, group discounts and military discounts.

Latest Products Launch in Exhibit Hall

Each year more than 50 new products are launched in the hall, making it the must-see venue for all EMS personnel. The 2009 exhibit hall will be no exception, offering the newest products from the leading manufacturers across the country, including a New Product Theater, featuring a complimentary continental breakfast – “Bagels & Breakthroughs.” In addition, to make the large hall easier to navigate, specialized kiosks will be introduced to allow attendees to search for companies and specific products.
