SAN ANTONIO — An ambulance went airborne after being struck by an SUV Wednesday night.
The ambulance was transporting a patient and making a left turn when an SUV struck the vehicle, causing the ambulance to hit a curb. The ambulance then landed on two parked vehicles.
Officials said no one was injured, but the patient was picked up by another ambulance to be taken to the hospital, reported My San Antonio.
It is not known whether the ambulance had its lights and sirens on. The crash was considered an accident and no charges were filed.
