LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — An ambulance was involved in a crash after an EMT suffered a medical emergency Friday morning.
Lancaster Online reported that the Ephrata Community ambulance was responding to a medical call and had already loaded a patient into the ambulance. While driving away, the ambulance hit a parked car, which was pushed into another vehicle. The second vehicle was then pushed into a home, causing damage to an outside wall.
The EMT, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover. Two other EMTs were evaluated at the hospital.
The patient was transported to a hospital.
