NORTH SALEM, N.Y. — Two EMS providers were hurt in an ambulance crash Sunday.
News 12 Long Island reported that the North Salem Ambulance Corp. ambulance was pulling onto an intersection when it collided with another vehicle.
First Assistant Fire Chief Trish Gallagher said the two EMS providers inside the ambulance were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, along with the driver of the other vehicle.
There was no patient inside of the ambulance at the time of the crash.
North Salem Ambulance Corp. members said the crash was the most serious incident involving one of their ambulances that they have seen in the history of the agency.
