2 EMS providers hurt after ambulance crashes into dialysis clinic

There were no patients in the ambulance at the time and no one inside the clinic was injured

JEANNETTE, Pa. — Two EMS providers were injured after their ambulance crashed into a dialysis clinic Tuesday afternoon.

TribLive reported that the Fayette EMS employees were picking up a patient just before 3 p.m. at DCI Dialysis, Inc. The ambulance turned into the clinic’s parking lot, hit two parked cars and struck a column that supported an awning.

There were no patients in the ambulance at the time of the crash. No one inside the clinic was injured, according to the report.

Both EMS providers were taken to a hospital for treatment.
