EMS provider suspended after 2 DUI citations in 2 hours

He was pulled over twice while off-duty, the first time with a blood-alcohol content of 0.125 percent, and his license was suspended

TOLEDO, Ohio — A Life Flight mobile ambulance driver has been suspended without pay after receiving two drunken-driving citations within two hours.

Robert Bodi, 47, of 2323 Shoreland Ave. was cited about 12:12 a.m. March 14 at Lagrange and Dexter streets. A breath test registered his blood-alcohol content at 0.125 percent, according to Toledo Municipal Court records. The legal limit is 0.08 percent.

Mr. Bodi was then pulled over on Lagrange near East Manhattan Boulevard at 1:53 a.m. and found to have a blood-alcohol content of 0.086. His license had been suspended after the first incident, according to the ticket.

Court records show Mr. Bodi has an impaired-driving conviction from 1989.
