Leadership in Emergency Services
Emergency services is steeped in the tradition of command and control, and today that scheme is still essential. However, using command and control in the non-emergent sector of our careers is nothing more than intimidation. This short interview takes a look at how the leadership paradigm is shifting away from the "do as I say" attitude to the "we can together" attitude. As educators, we play a key role in changing these attitudes.
