EMT hurt in ambulance crash that traps man in car
The two vehicles collided and the ambulance struck a utility pole — cutting it into three pieces — and sheered off a fire hydrant
MANHEIM, Pa.— An ambulance and a car collided outside of Manheim late Saturday morning, trapping someone in the car for a time.
According to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police, a Subaru station wagon and a Warwick Community Ambulance both were traveling west on Doe Run Road. Police said the station wagon was in front of the ambulance, when the driver activated the car's left turn signal.
Police said the car started moving to the far right side of the road, and the ambulance attempted to pass it.
