Pediatrics - Guidelines for Children with Special Healthcare Needs

The EMSC National Resource Center (NRC) has recently received clearance from the Department of Health and Human Services to distribute and post to the federal EMSC website the following four fact sheets targeting children with special health care needs (CSHCN):

  1. Common Emergencies Affecting Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs
  2. Las emergencias más communes entre los niños o jóvenes con necesidades especiales de salud (Spanish version of Common Emergencies)
  3. Disaster Preparedness Planning for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs
  4. Planes para estar preparados en para las familias de niños y jóvenes con necesidades especiales de cuidado medico (Spanish version of Disaster Preparedness Planning)

All four fact sheets are available, free of charge, from the EMSC website Products and Resources section.
