Middlesborough, U.K. — A paramedic posted an x-ray of a patient's skull with three nails embedded into it on Facebook, a misconduct hearing was told.

Philip Harling deleted the patient's name but failed to realise the image was so unusual that the male patient could easily be identified on the social networking site.

He also mentioned on the site that the man was treated by the North East Ambulance Service in February 2008.
