EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Authorities identified a driver killed in a crash in East Pittsburgh Friday evening as 86-year-old Albert Muhlenbecher.

Muhlenbecher of East Pittsburgh suffered traumatic injuries to his head, neck and body, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

Three others, including a police officer and paramedic, were injured in the crash that happened just before 6:30 p.m. at Route 30 and Center Avenue. The medical examiner's office said Muhlenbecher might have suffered a medical problem before the crash.

The police officer and paramedic suffered leg injuries when a vehicle drifted into them. The third victim was injured in the crash that killed Muhlenbecher.
