AUSTIN, Texas — A woman accused of punching a medic in the groin faces assault on a public servant charge.
The Austin American-Statesman reported that an arrest warrant on the third-degree felony charge was issued Monday for 23-year-old Cienna Iniguezcorlew.
On July 31, two medics responded to a 911 call involving Iniguezcorlew, who police said was verbally aggressive and insulting as she demanded medics take her to the hospital, according to the report.
As the medics were backing the ambulance into a bay with Iniguezcorlew on the stretcher, she tore at her seat belt and started to punch them, according to the report.
The medics restrained her, but she was able to free her right arm and punched a medic in the groin.
