Ambulance slams into salt truck

It appears no one was injured in the incident

WWJ

HARPER WOODS, Mich. — As snow started to fall at about 7:30 a.m. Monday — just in time for Monday morning commuters — an ambulance slammed into a salt truck on I-94 in Harper Woods, according to WWJ’s Bill Szumanski.

It happened on westbound I-94, near Moross.

“This ambulance hit the back of the salt truck so hard, it’s one of those full-sized vans and the engine compartment is now into the front seat of this ambulance,” said Szumanski, reporting live from the scene.
