Video: Grandfather wrangles shark away from children

The shark got close to shore, scaring the young kids

The Telegraph

QUEENSLAND, Australia — The incident happened on Friday in the Sunshine Coast region of the state of Queensland, and was captured by a local news team.

According to Australia's Channel Nine, the shark came into very shallow waters and two men rushed to move it away before it reached children who were playing in the water nearby.

Paul Marshallsea, a grandfather from Wales, and Terry Dale, a wildlife carer, pushed the shark towards open waters.

David Shrader David Shrader Tuesday, January 22, 2013 8:31:59 PM Mote- Hakuna Motata dude. The circle of Life and all of that. I agree to leave him alone UNTIL he wants to eat your grandkid. He only removed the shark from being a danger to his family. Live and let live, but kill rather than be killed. That's what nature is all about. Every creature (even Vegans) kills to survive. It's a matter of opportunity, desire, degree and taste.
