''Hypothermia treatment after ROSC has been around for a long time. It was big in the 1980s and then faded. There are a few EMS companies that are utilizing hypothermia. ... There is a capital expenditure in the budget for equipment and staffing. There is also the ethics side of it. To initiate hypothermia and commit to 24 hours can be quite an undertaking and does not always have the desired outcomes.''
