"My squad recently bought the electric cot. I have mixed feelings on this. They say it makes it easier to lift heavy patients, but what about loading into the ambulance? My thoughts are, the cots are heavier than the regular ones, and sure they help with the lift from ground position to loading position, but how about after that?"
