The rescue effort following last Monday's devastating earthquake took a tragic turn yesterday when authorities revealed more than 200 relief workers had been buried by mudslides in southwesternChina in the past three days. | "I would have to say that air ambulances are overused sometimes. Classic example: At the end of last month, I had to wait about 30 minutes for a helo. I had a 24yo M GSW to L Knee. We could have gotten the kid to a level 1 trauma center in 10-15 by ground. The problem was that Fire (who took command) wanted to call the bird in for the second time in less than two hours." — charlestodd3 |
