EMS1 Forums Post of the Week
"I am a 16-year-experienced medic in Northern California and I must admit my resources are much greater than some of these rural agencies. In the event of an MCI, if I am the first in unit, I will always call out one unit for every ALS pt. or every two BLS pts. I do not transport a patient if I am first in. That leaves me to do proper assessments on DOAs and Pt. Refusals."
