Minnesota Hires State EMS Medical Director

The Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board (EMSRB) has hired Keith Wesley, MD FACEP as the State EMS Medical Director. The Board is the State’s lead agency for emergency medical services and is responsible for licensing Minnesota’s ambulance services and EMS personnel, as well as providing grant support to a variety of programs supporting EMS at the state and regional levels.

In addition to his new part-time role as Minnesota’s EMS Medical Director, he serves as the part-time Medical Director of the Wisconsin Bureau of EMS and as the Chair of the Medical Directors Council of the National Association of State EMS Officials. Best wishes to Dr. Wesley in this endeavor!
