Mac’s Lift Gate, Inc. is a family-owned business since it was started in 1957. Based in Long Beach, California we
have been manufacturing lifts for homes and vehicles for more than 50 years. We manufactured our first ambulance
lift in 1980 for Hartson (now Rural Metro, San Diego) to pick up incubators. Since then, we have worked extensively with ambulance and vehicle manufacturers to design a lift that stows completely under the ambulance. This allows full use inside the ambulance for life saving equipment and supplies.
