NY EMT dies of cardiac arrest

Paul Bazinet died in the line of duty on Sunday

GLEN FALLS, N.Y. — A New York Firefighter-EMT died on Sunday from cardiac arrest, according to the National EMS Memorial Service. EMT Paul Bazinet, 52, of Empire Ambulance, was completing a transport when he complained of feeling winded and had his partner drive him to the hospital, according to reports. Bazinet became unresponsive en route, at which point his partner began treatment.

Bazinet was transported to Saratoga Hospital where he later died. Bazinet is survived by his wife, parents, brother, and sister.
