PALM BEACH, Fla. — The local firefighters' union has established a benevolent fund for the family of Lt. Rafael Vazquez.

Anyone wishing to donate should send checks to the Professional Firefighters and Paramedics of Palm Beach County, 2328 S. Congress Avenue, Suite 2C, West Palm Beach, FL 33406.

Checks should be made payable to the Firefighter Benevolent Fund and in the memo section write: Lt. Vazquez's family.

"We'll make sure the donations get to the family," said Drew Hacker, District Vice President at Lake Worth Fire Rescue.
