GERMANTOWN, Pa. — Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly stabbing in the city's Germantown section.

Police were called around 9:00 p.m. Monday to an apartment on the 5500 block of Wayne Avenue for the report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, they found the body of a 69-year-old woman inside one of the units on the second floor. The victim had multiple wounds to her chest and neck. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.
