Mass. teens recover after being trapped in swamp

The thick brush surrounding the swamp proved difficult for crews to navigate through

NORWELL, Mass. Three 14-year-old Norwell, Mass. boys are doing fine - all released from the South Shore Hospital early Wednesday morning after what was a cold, dangerous and scary night.

A late afternoon walk by three young boys turned into a full scale search by the Norwell Police, Fire Department and the Massachusetts State Police Air-Wing and K9 units.

"The kids were all conscience and stable and in pretty good spirits for being pretty cold," Norwell Firefighter/Paramedic Harry Merritt said.
