Ambulance catches fire next to Ala. station

Firefighters were on the scene within minutes and put out the fire quickly

By EMS1 Staff

ROGERSVILLE, Ala. — Members of an Ala. fire department were called to their own station Friday morning when an ambulance parked behind the station caught on fire.

Rogersville Volunteer Fire Department firefighters were on the scene within minutes and put out the fire quickly, according to WAFF, but the cause of the fire was not mentioned.

They were able to contain the fire with the help of a local police officer, according to a post on the fire department's Facebook page, and stopped it from spreading to the fire station and a satellite business next door.
