Ambulance, car crash kills bystander in Denver

DENVER — A woman identified as Rochelle Hope, 28, of Denver was killed standing at a bus stop early Tuesday at Martin Luther King Boulevard and York Street. An ambulance and a car collided in the intersection, and the car struck the bus stop. Police said the ambulance had its lights and sirens on. Paramedics Tom Kacan and Marsha Davis were injured. Davis was treated and released. Kacan was in fair condition. The car's driver, who wasn't identified, was hospitalized.
