OTTAWA, Ontario — Two women are fighting for their lives after an apartment balcony collapsed in Ottawa.

The 19- and 20-year-olds have been placed in induced comas after being rushed to hospital with four others late Saturday night.

Three of the six people who fell when the third-story balcony collapsed have now been released from hospital. In addition to the two women, a male victim of the collapse also remains under medical care.
