The Quic-Step Retractable Vehicle Step, Model VS-24-9, reduces injuries by decreasing the distance from the ground to the step surface. It provides a 7-5/8” drop height, making it more efficient for ambulances with less ground clearance than the larger VS-24-11. Powered by a single 12V electric actuator, it may be wired into the door interlock, which comes standard with a plunger-style limit switch, allowing the step to automatically extend with door opening and retract with door closing.
