CABELL COUNTY, W.V. — West Virginia's obesity problem is now affecting Cabell County Emergency Services bottom line.

A price of nearly, $500,000 the Cabell EMS will roll out new ambulances over the next two weeks. While the differences from the older trucks are minor they directly relate to West Virginia's growing waistband.

"It's turned into a challenge just getting the patients out of the house and into the ambulances," said Cabell EMS Director Gordon Merry.
