ImageTrend's Trauma Bridge Version 2.0 Release Promotes Patient Care Continuity
LAKEVILLE, Minn. - ImageTrend is excited to announce the release of the Trauma Bridge software version 2.0. building on the robust Trauma Bridge already implemented in several states, including Minnesota and Missouri. This enhanced Version now combines patient care records from an EMS (Emergency Medical Service) pre-hospital run with those of the trauma center and even supports inclusion of rehabilitation records. This unique continuity of care feature consolidates the patient care report across service areas and provider groups. The Trauma Bridge system provides data collection and reporting tools to assist in providing the necessary information for the coordination of efforts to establish effective trauma care and injury prevention guidelines.
According to the HRSA (Health Resources and Services Administration), injury is a leading cause of death in the United States and continues to occur every day in every State of our Nation and requires a comprehensive injury response strategy. One aspect of this strategy is recording trauma incidents in a statewide registry, which provides for a centralized point of information collaboration to be analyzed for trends and procedural effectiveness. These results will be used to determine potential improvements that will impact patient care and survival.
