emsCharts Software Achieves National Gold Compliance
Patient data collection products compliant with NEMSIS Gold Standard
WEST MIFFLIN, Penn. – The National Emergency Medical Services Information System (NEMSIS) Technical Assistance Center (TAC) announced today that emsCharts, Inc. products have achieved Gold Level Compliance with the NEMSIS national standards for electronic patient data collection.
The emsCharts web-based patient data collection system was evaluated by NEMSIS TAC through weeks of data testing and was awarded Gold compliance for meeting all requirements. NEMSIS established 2 levels of compliance for their testing, based upon a product’s ability to capture defined data elements. Gold compliance indicates that the product is capable of capturing all NEMSIS defined data elements, whereas Silver compliance indicates only a subset of the data is collected. “emsCharts has always provided EMS providers with the most comprehensive and flexible data set available,” says Pete Goutmann, Vice President of emsCharts, Inc. “We’re pleased to offer our customers a well-rounded product that adheres to national standards and is now certified as NEMSIS Gold Compliant.
