ImageTrend, Inc. Attains NEMSIS Gold Level Software Compliance
LAKEVILLE, Min – The National Emergency Medical Services Information System (NEMSIS) has awarded ImageTrend, Inc. and its EMS State Bridge software product the Gold Level Software Compliance. This compliance is the culmination of a combined local, state and national level initiative designed to standardize the collection of patient data elements in compliance with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) dataset 2.2.1.
Key to ImageTrend’s software compliance is its numerous capabilities as a dynamic data management system, including the ability to collect, export and import the more than 400 data fields, specific to the NHTSA 2.2.1 dataset. .
This new Gold status means ImageTrend’s EMS software conforms to the NEMSIS national EMS dataset. ImageTrend’s ability to understand the unique requirements shows ImageTrend’s commitment to customer service by providing superior software.

Currently, we have eight states using our software that is based on the NEMSIS standards and two are already submitting data to NEMSIS. NEMSIS stands for the National Emergency Medical Services Information System. NEMSIS is the national repository that will be used to store EMS data from every state in the nation, allowing for a national EMS dataset. The intent is to use this information to impact public health care procedures and response times. The three primary goals and objectives of NEMSIS are: to implement an electronic EMS documentation system in every local EMS system; implement a state EMS information system in every state and territory; and implement a national EMS database. Currently, 48 states are participants through a Memorandum of Understanding.
