HUGHESTOWN, Pa. — The ambulance collided with a tractor-trailer at 2:48 a.m. at McAlpine Street and Foote Avenue.

The occupants of the ambulance were EMS Lt. Stephanie Kobilinski and Fire Police Lt. Joseph Meranti.

Kobilinski was treated at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, for minor bruises and later released.
