FareTec Releases a New Line of Vacuum Splints for Extremities
FareTec has just released the new Responder Products Vacuum Splints, or VacSplints. In cases where fractured extremities exist, the VacSplint provides excellent immobilization during precious moments before hospital care can be provided.
The VacSplint consists of a sealed, double layered, polymer bag that encloses small polystyrene balls, with a valve and straps (replaceable). The splints are easy to clean and invisible to X-Rays.
The VacSplint provides several advantages over traditional splints:
