Gregg S. Margolis, PhD, NREMT-P, is Associate Director of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
Dr. Margolis is responsible for the development and oversight of the National Registry's research, re-registration, and community relations programs. Prior to joining the National Registry he spent 15 years in academics, serving in leadership positions and as a faculty member at The George Washington University and the University of Pittsburgh. He was the Expert Writer for the National EMS Model Scope of Practice and the EMS Education Agenda for the Future and as Principal Investigator for the Paramedic and EMT-Intermediate National Standard Curricula. Dr. Margolis has presented hundreds of national and international lectures and published dozens of articles and textbooks in a wide array of topics in emergency medicine, EMS, education, research, and aquatics.
