Gamber-Johnson Announces Three New Components for the Motorola ML910 Computer
Ensures Universal Usability in Vehicular and Office Environments
STEVENS POINT, WI – Gamber-Johnson, renowned manufacturer of rugged mobile docking stations and vehicle mounts, announces the release of two mobile and one office docking station for the Motorola ML910 computer.
The High Tier (7160-0029) and Mid Tier (7160-0030) docks are nearly identical; both offer integrated speakers and power supply. The High Tier dock provides dual RF pass-through, SMA GPS and Mini UHF while the Mid Tier dock does not offer antenna pass-through.
The ML910 High Tier and Mid Tier Docking Stations were designed using MIL-STD-810F test procedures. Both units have brass locating pins to allow for precise computer placement and an amber LED indicator light to signify proper docking of the computer.
The easy-to-use latching action and floating docking connector ensure a fast, reliable docking connection. Users simply pull the front handle to insert the docking connector and secure the latching brackets. To remove the computer, users push the front handle to release the latches and disengage the docking connector. The universal design and recessed backward facing ports allow the dock to be mounted up to the dash, and loops and slots within the docking station prevent cables from being strained.
Heavy gauge steel construction and a black powdercoat finish ensure long-term durability and maximum corrosion resistance. In addition, the High Tier and Mid Tier docks’ internal/protected circuit boards prevent dirt and dust from damaging the computer. To protect users, both units have rounded edges.
The High Tier and Mid Tier docks are backed by a one-year limited warranty (printed circuit board and docking connector) and a three-year limited warranty on all sheet metal components.
The ML910 Office Dock (7160-0031) addresses usability in the office environment with a non-rugged port replication and basic I/O function of the mobile docks. The Office Dock has a safety pin feature to ensure users properly align the computer at their desk.
All three components are RoHS and WEEE compliant.
