Ferno Introduces the PROFlexX X-Frame Ambulance Cot
WILMINGTON, OH — Ferno has released the new PROFlexX Manual X-Frame Ambulance Cot. The PROFleX features a longer, solid front leg in the X-Frame, which provides minimal flex and a lower center of gravity at all heights. This means operators may be less likely to tip or flip a cot during transfers and transport, reducing situations that may cause injury to the operator or patient.
The PROFlexX provides the EMS community with significant new features for patient transport. These include 700 lb. load capacity in the raised position, no pinch points, an ergonomic foot-end lift-bar with adjustable handgrips, a 5-position load bar for greater maneuverability and multiple lift positions, and L-Casting technology for increased strength and durability.
The PROFlexX also offers EMS crews the versatility to respond to bariatric patients. In the lowest position the PROFlexX can transport 1100 lbs. When you combine this with the removable LBS Bariatric Board, Bariatric Pull Cables, Manta Patient Transfer Sheet, and by using the upper range of the load frame as a push-pull handle, you can safely move any size patient.
