Vidacare Corporation To Accelerate Growth Plan, Expand Sales Team by Thirty Percent by Year’s End

San Antonio, TXVidacare Corporation is increasing its in-house direct sales team by thirty percent by the end of October, hiring eleven new sales representatives to supplement the 40-person strong domestic sales force currently in place.  The domestic sales force represents all Vidacare product systems, including the EZ-IO® Intraosseous Infusion System and the OnControl™ Bone Marrow and Bone Access Systems.

In just under nine months, Vidacare Corporation has exceeded its goal for projected yearly growth of nearly 32 percent and is reinvesting in the company to capitalize on its strong position in the marketplace.

“The past nine months have shown significantly promising adoption trends for all of our products, and this expansion will help us further strengthen our leadership position and grow into new market niches in a more aggressive manner,” said Michael Voss, Chief Operating Officer of Vidacare.

Established in 2001, Vidacare Corporation is the pioneer of a broad technology platform for use in the field of intraosseous (inside the bone) medicine. Current products include the EZ-IO® Intraosseous Infusion System, the OnControl™ Bone Marrow System and the OnControl™ Bone Access System.  Applications include vascular access, emergency and disaster medicine, oncology and spinal surgery. Vidacare’s focus on enhancing clinical efficacy, patient safety and comfort, and reducing complications and their associated costs, has resulted in its devices becoming the recognized technology standard. Privately held, the company is based in San Antonio, Texas, and its products are marketed in over 50 countries worldwide.
