MEXICO CITY — Mexico City's mayor says at three people are dead and five are injured after a small plane crashed into a street full of parked cars in a wealthy neighborhood.

Mayor Marcelo Ebrard tells Formato 21 radio station that the crash occurred Tuesday in the city's posh Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood.

Parked cars at the site of the crash were seen burning in television footage.
